                <text>A iconografia isabelina é um património artístico riquíssimo no domínio da escultura, da gravura, da pintura e do azulejo, com início ainda em vida da rainha, com a estátua jacente do túmulo gótico que ela própria mandou construir. Remonta, no entanto, à data da sua beatificação em 1520, o início de um importante ciclo iconográfico, que tem representações em todos os períodos e estilos artísticos até aos nossos dias, constituindo um património cultural cuja falta de estudo é uma lacuna grave que urge preencher.</text>
